A bit of history about Lloft OT
- the property was originally built as a garage and workshop by the
then manager of the local quarry, who lived in one of the nearby
houses. The ground floor housed the quarry truck while upstairs was
used as a workshop by a local joiner named O.T.Williams. One of the
quarry manager's children still lives locally and recalls being a
regular visitor to the workshop as a small child, learning to count
and sing while sitting on the workbench at "Lloft OT".
Lloft OT has excellent
facilities close by, with two hotels offering bar meals within easy
walking distance. There is a well stocked shop and cafe in Capel
Curig village (1 mile) and in Betws y Coed (4 miles) there are
numerous shops and restaurants providing everything you need for an
enjoyable holiday.
