Tan-y-Garth
Self
Catering Holiday Cottage - Capel Curig |
|
|

Tan-y-Garth is owned by Gwydyr
Mountain Club and is situated in woodland at the base of Moel Siabod
- the area is very scenic, peaceful but convenient for local
amenities, with local stores in the centre of Capel Curig and in
Betws-y-Coed. only a short drive away.
The local area offers a wealth
of wildlife, birds and pipistrelle bats, not to mention being close
to the Gwydyr Forest, run by the Forestry Commission it is filled
with scenic walks and wildlife, not to mention activities such as
mountain bike routes.
Tan y Garth (under the hill in
Welsh) offers comfortable self catering accommodation in the heart
of Snowdonia National Park at a reasonable price
The property is an old stone
cottage built towards the end of the nineteenth century. Although
having been fully modernised including a new fitted kitchen and UPVC
windows there is a relatively steep narrow staircase which may prove
difficult for disabled people.
Tan-y-Garth is a NON-SMOKING
